Life-science laboratories make increasing use of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) for studying bio-macromolecules and their interactions. This has to be done to meet the demands of NGS experiments and clinical tests. It provides embedded pipelines for the analysis of ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, miRNA-Seq and Exome-Seq experiments etc.

Next-generation sequencing has become a cornerstone of modern life-science laboratories and is generally carried out by specialized facilities.  If you are using  LIMS  implemented system and use AWS for computing needs, you will mostly require a data lake and need a web application (in AWS) to view and store experiments data.

One of our Clients was looking to develop a data lake in AWS where  they can retrieve information from the LIMS system and store the plate map and experiment  data for analysis.QPAIR developed a business rules engine for streamlined data ingestion and created the  solution in AWS using Amazon S3, glue, reactjs, DynamoDB and Glacier etc.

We developed this custom application  that  harvests the data from LIMS  and then ingests  into a data lake for further processing & analysis. Everything that was stored was made sure  is compliant with GxP.
